Child10 is looking for a Fundraising and Partnership Manager

Child10 gathers, develops, and advocates for powerful solutions to end child trafficking. Our vision is a world free from child trafficking. We believe that change is achieved by a holistic child rights-based approach. Together with grassroots organizations and other leading experts we develop and advocate for powerful and durable solutions to protect children from trafficking and exploitation. Our mission is to create a world free of child trafficking through prevention, victim support, legal action against perpetrators and minimizing demand. We are driven by impact and efficiency in our work and we are very proud of what we have achieved so far. Now we aim to accelerate our impact and our operations and we are looking for a new college to join our team to scale up our fundraising and partner engagement. This is a new role that you will be able to shape!

Main responsibilities

The Fundraising manager’s responsibilities include making sure we increase our operations and impact through new partners and donors, but also on developing relationships with existing ones. We are looking for a person who can create effective strategies for successful fundraising, both in Sweden and internationally, as well as maximizing the engagement from the people around us who want to join the fight against child trafficking. 

To be successful in this role we expect you to: 

• Deliver on fundraising objectives.
• Formulate and implement fundraising strategies and campaigns that reflect Child10’s ideals.
• Develop partnerships with donors, partners and other stakeholders.
• Lead grant writing processes and work collaboratively to enhance fundraising efforts in the team.
• Coming up with ingenious ways to engage donors and donors in our mission,

Skills required

We are a small and driven team that are passionate about what we do. We expect you to be able to join a start-up culture and  own your own responsibilities and tasks. To succeed in this new role, we believe you 

• Have 3-5 years of fundraising, sales or marketing experience preferably from the NGO sector.
• Possess sharp public speaking skills with the ability to deliver presentations to a range of audiences.
• Hold a relevant university degree or have equivalent knowledge and experience
• Have excellent written, communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills.
• Enjoy staying informed on marketing strategies and are comfortable doing your own research.
• Are fluent in English and Swedish

In addition, it would be great if you have

• Knowledge of human rights and children’s rights in particular  
• Experience in grant-writing and donor reporting.  
• Experience in working at management level
• International working experience.
• Entrepreneurial approach to challenges and opportunities
• Experience in fundraising through social media

Additional information
The position is based in Stockholm, with the possibility of occasionally working remotely or from home. Travel and overnight stays might be required. It is a permanent (6 months probationary employment), full time position, equivalent of 40h/week. You might be required to work after office hours from time to time. Our working languages are both English and Swedish.
